Per-Minute Services and Trunking

Per Minute Services and Trunking

Create and set limits for users that include inbound and outbound trunks, and per minute credits. 2600Hz allows you to bill your users for both trunks and per-minute credits at once. So if users exceed the number of trunks they are allocated, you can add per-minute credits.

Per-Minute Services - Per-minute services require you to deposit money into the account before you start making calls. To add credit to your account, click “Per Minute” just left of the main dashboard. Then Add Credit (must be a minimum of $5). Per-Minute Billing will be ongoing until it runs out, but you have an option to Auto-recharge.

To add per-minute credits:

  1. Click on Settings Icon at the top left of the UI. This is next to your name.
  2. Once in Settings, click on “Per Minute” tab left of the UI.
  3. You will be able to see your minutes used and your total call charges. You can also filter by date and download to an excel doc. Click on the “Add Credit” button.
  4. Decide to either add a one-time credit or enable auto recharge. Enter the amount.
  5. Select the “Confirm” button and you’re set.

Trunking Services - SIP Trunks are flat-rate channels that allow for inbound and outbound calling. When you are within Settings, you can locate Trunking just left of the dashboard. You have three trunking options:

  1. Outbound – the number of concurrent outbound calls you can make at once.
  2. Inbound – the number of concurrent inbound calls that can be made at once.
  3. Two-Way - the number of concurrent inbound and outbound calls that can be made at once.

Once SIP trunks are set up, users will be billed on a recurring monthly basis and can be seen in the Service Plan within Settings.

To set new limits for Outbound, Inbound or Two-Way credits:

  1. Click on Settings Icon at the top left of the UI. This is next to your name.
  2. Once in Settings, click on either the “Outbound,” “Inbound” or “Two-Way” tab under Transactions.
  3. Use the slider to add or remove trunks.
  4. Hit the “Update Limits” button and you’re set.
