Administrators Darren Schreiber Posted March 19, 2016 Administrators Report Share Posted March 19, 2016 Perfect. So are we populating the 0 or did you enter that?
Logicwrath
I manually entered the 0, it was port 7000 originally.
Administrators Darren Schreiber Posted March 19, 2016 Administrators Report Share Posted March 19, 2016 Alright, I'll check in with Peter Lau on this. Grrrr Yealink inconsistencies.
Logicwrath
It's worth repeating, that the phone still shows DNS-NAPTR and not DNS-SRV.
Administrators Darren Schreiber Posted March 19, 2016 Administrators Report Share Posted March 19, 2016 Yup. Which means the same firmware "series" has different DNS features depending on the model. Which is why it's irritating.I'll ask Peter on Monday to look at these again and make sure that we're defaulting to 0 for phones with DNS-NAPTR. Logicwrath
I assume there are fixes/changes that occur in the Monster UI from time to time, like the advanced provisioner you mentioned earlier. Will there always be an official announcement when these get updated or is there somewhere I can look to see version numbers so I know when to check for fixes/changes? esoare
Let us know when this roles! This along with " https://helpcenter.2600hz.com/2600hz/... " having the Local SIP port being changed properly in higher firmware of the Yealinks, would "seem" to fix everything that would allow for proper deployment using RPS.. esoare
Can I test this to? :) I just rolled a site of 15 phones out, and the changes that I am making aren't being applied, because the server url isn't populated during the initial Auto Provision... The phone I have on that account in the office shows a blank in the "Server URL" section of the phone.
