  1. HI,

I'm working on setting up a dedicated firmware server to store all the multiple firmware versions as we have a growing collection of firmwares and need for space. Once I have it working in our sandbox environment, I'll schedule a deployment with our Ops team. Usually we like to deploy updates to Provisioner end of day Fridays so it'll be up end of this week or next week.

  2. Hi Rick, while your suggestion does sound easier, it's not.

If the copy tool is only used for same make and model, no problem. Very easy. But for a copy tool to truly be useful, it needs to be generic.

That means adding in the ability to copy across multiple models. Various models can run different firmwares and sometimes support different features (eg. Yealink 3 series vs 4 series, Polycom SSIP vs VVX). Then there's across makes as Ciscos, Polycoms and Yealinks all handle configs differently.

I do know that for Polycoms you can import a partial config file so you can write up a common Line Key file and upload it for every phone. Yealinks have this feature for any phone running firmware 73 or above. For both brands, adding additional line keys past the hard limit simply means they don't show up.
  3. I've experiments to run.
There is research to be done.
    On the people who are
    still alive.
    And believe me I am
    still alive.
    I'm doing science and I'm
    still alive.
    I feel fantastic and I'm
    still alive.
    While you're dying I'll be
    still alive.
And when you're dead I will be
    still alive

    Still alive.

    Still alive.
  4. To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day
Hardly spoke to folks around him didn't have too much to say
No one dared to ask his business no one dared to make a slip
For the stranger there among them had a big iron on his hip
    Big iron on his hip
