Vic Posted December 13, 2018 Report Posted December 13, 2018 Hello, General question: How to enable BLF on Kazoo? Here are the Apps and modules running on the system: sup kapps_controller running_apps [acdc,blackhole,callflow,cdr,conference,crossbar,fax,hangups,media_mgr,milliwatt,omnipresence,pivot,registrar,reorder,stepswitch,sysconf,tasks,teletype,trunkstore,webhooks] sup crossbar_maintenance running_modules [cb_about,cb_accounts,cb_agents,cb_alerts,cb_api_auth,cb_apps_store,cb_auth,cb_basic_auth,cb_blacklists,cb_callflows,cb_cdrs,cb_channels,cb_clicktocall,cb_comments,cb_conferences,cb_configs,cb_connectivity,cb_contact_list,cb_devices_v1,cb_devices_v2,cb_directories,cb_faxboxes,cb_faxes,cb_groups,cb_hotdesks,cb_ips,cb_ledgers,cb_limits_v1,cb_limits_v2,cb_media,cb_menus,cb_metaflows,cb_multi_factor,cb_notifications,cb_parked_calls,cb_phone_numbers_v1,cb_phone_numbers_v2,cb_pivot,cb_port_requests,cb_presence,cb_queues,cb_quickcall,cb_rates,cb_registrations,cb_resource_templates,cb_resources,cb_schemas,cb_search,cb_security,cb_service_plans,cb_services,cb_simple_authz,cb_sms,cb_system_configs,cb_tasks,cb_templates,cb_temporal_rules,cb_temporal_rules_sets,cb_token_auth,cb_token_restrictions,cb_transactions,cb_user_auth,cb_users_v1,cb_users_v2,cb_vmboxes,cb_webhooks,cb_websockets,cb_whitelabel,crossbar_maintenance,crossbar_services,crossbar_util] I tried with an Aastra 57i: # Upper softkeys # The 6757i and 6737i support ten upper softkeys # These examples configure the upper buttons as # Busy Lamp Fields, which can be used to # show the status of other phones on # the system and to call or transfer # calls to those phones.topsoftkey1 type: blfxfer topsoftkey1 label: Secretary topsoftkey1 value: 1000 The key doesn't flash when the ext. 1000 is in use. Speed dial do work. ====================== How to do it on Yealink T42G? with the GUI or on provisioning server? Thanks, Vic Quote
Baze Posted December 13, 2018 Report Posted December 13, 2018 Is this on your own cluster you set up? Is the provisioning that you are doing from a server you set up also? BLF works great on the Yealink, and also does work on Aastra. Best way we like to do this is to login to the UI on the phones and then set it from the GUI there. Once that is done and tested, usually there is an option to export the phone config which will give you the exact information you need. They change from vendor to vendor, and sometimes from firmware to firmware (esp Yealink can) so just keep an eye on that. Quote
Vic Posted December 13, 2018 Author Report Posted December 13, 2018 Hello Baze, It is my own cluster setup. For the Aastra, I did it from a tftp server (local). I'm not familiar with BLF in general. Could you please give a screenshot of the Yealink setting on the BLF section? Thanks, Quote
Baze Posted December 13, 2018 Report Posted December 13, 2018 Sure, so here is a screenshot: Here is the associated config file to make the above work: linekey.1.label = Brandon B linekey.1.type = 16 linekey.1.value = 1234 linekey.1.line = 1 linekey.2.label = Jeremy K linekey.2.type = 16 linekey.2.value = 1218 linekey.2.line = 1 linekey.3.label = Kyle V linekey.3.type = 16 linekey.3.value = 1237 linekey.3.line = 1 linekey.4.label = David K linekey.4.type = 16 linekey.4.value = 1230 linekey.4.line = 1 linekey.5.label = Janae S linekey.5.type = 16 linekey.5.value = 1221 linekey.5.line = 1 linekey.6.label = Bill J linekey.6.type = 16 linekey.6.value = 1224 linekey.6.line = 1 linekey.7.label=Pramod V linekey.7.type = 16 linekey.7.value = 1236 linekey.7.line = 1 linekey.8.label = Park 1 linekey.8.type = 10 linekey.8.value = *31 linekey.8.line = 1 linekey.9.label = Park 2 linekey.9.type = 10 linekey.9.value = *32 linekey.9.line = 1 linekey.10.label = Park 3 linekey.10.type = 10 linekey.10.value = *33 linekey.10.line = 1 linekey.11.label = Page All linekey.11.type = 13 linekey.11.value = 2555 linekey.11.line = 1 Quote

Vic Posted December 13, 2018 Author Report Posted December 13, 2018 Hello Baze, Something is probably wrong on my configs. For Aastra: #BLF Key Settings softkey1 type: blfxfer softkey1 value: (the device id? or the Extension?) softkey1 line: 1 softkey1 label: "Park 1" Do you have to enable some specific "presence" apps or modules? Vic Posted December 14, 2018 Author Report Posted December 14, 2018 Hello Baze, It works now. Thank you! the issue was related to a field on the DB (Mysql): ERROR: db_mysql [km_dbase.c:128]: db_mysql_submit_query(): driver error on query: Data too long for column 'etag' at row 1 (1406) I "alter" the filed in three tables and that solves the BLF issue. Thanks, Victor Quote
