extremerotary Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 This is a quick and easy one. When a user sets DND on their phone locally, does kazoo set their presence state to 'full'? I recall in Asterisk (uuugggh) that it would set the "hint" status to In-Use. I can't, for the life of me, figure out how it knew that the phone was on DND. I don't recall ever seeing a signal or any other kind of message sent to Asterisk to inform it, so... no idea. Anyone here have any thoughts or feedback on that? Obviously I can disable the DND button for the devices and create call flows to toggle DND. On the subject, does that module change the user presence state?
Tuly Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 I do not believe the DND changes anything on the server, when you set a phone to DND and call the extension, the phone is getting the call but it only gets rejected, I like to completely disable the feature of DND on phones, a lot of headaches and frustrated users when they have the phone on DND and they don't even know what it means.
Te Matau Posted August 26, 2017 Report Posted August 26, 2017 We wrote some code so that if DND or CFWD is changed server-side presence state is updated (either by feature codes or API). But when I look in Master it's not there so I'll have to check what happened and get back to you.
