Marie Posted March 6, 2019 Report Share Posted March 6, 2019 Our customer says they no longer see caller id name while dialing internal extension on their new Polycom VVX 600, only shows once party answers. This one user upgraded from 400 to 600. Worked for them when they used a Polycom VVX 400 and still works between all other user's VVX 400's. They would like to see the name when calling an internal person's extension but it only shows extension number until the party answers, then it shows both extension and name. When dialing internal extension from VVX 400 to another VVX 400, it shows fine as it always had. We tested on VVX 500 and it does not show the name either, until party answers. Firmware used 5.4.6 Seems, according to Polycom Community post in 2013, that this is something that Polycom will not be including any longer on the newer model 500 and 600 and we will have to request this feature via our Polycom reseller.
