Evgeni 0 Report post Posted July 30, 2018 is rfc4235 or rfc4662 supported with kazoo? Here is an example how we do it on broadsoft (rfc4662 I believe) http://support.yealink.com/faq/faqInfo?id=
0 mc_ 44 Report post Posted July 31, 2018 AFAICT Kamailio supports RFC 4662 (https://www.kamailio.org/w/interoperability/) So Kazoo should support it or adding support should be straightforward. Can't speak authoritatively on that though; have you tried it?
0 Evgeni 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2018 we have not tried it yet - we are doing feasibility review of the kazoo platform and attempting to paint a picture if our legacy apps can be supported...
0 mc_ 44 Report post Posted August 3, 2018 Appears that RFC 4662 is on the roadmap but no timeline afaict. It is sponsor-able though, so if its the only thing holding you back, that could be an option too.
0 Evgeni 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2018 MC. thank you (and sorry for slow responding) this is great info. can you plz tell if sponsor-able option available for global infra customers exclusively or also for open source users? Regards
0 mc_ 44 Report post Posted August 17, 2018 Sponsor-able by anyone. I believe the development rate is affected by whether the work will go into the open source Kazoo project or be a closed source project specifically for you. Contact sales@2600hz.com to get more information on sponsorship and your options there.
