Administrators marketing Posted October 1, 2021 Administrators Report Posted October 1, 2021 Q3 2021 Quarterly NewsletterFrom September 29, 2021 It’s the end of Q3 and, even though our team has already grown quite a bit this year, we’re still growing! Check out our Careers page and let us know (or forward it to a friend!) if you’re interested in joining our growing, distributed team. Highlights From Q3 Speaking of hiring and growth...in July we announced the expansion of our global sales efforts with Demetrio Rico joining 2600Hz as VP of Global Sales. Demetrio has led several successful global sales teams and has contributed to the rapid growth of telcos for more than 20 years. Most recently, he served as Global Director, Service Provider Development for Five9 where he helped Service Providers launch Cloud Contact Center. Prior to Five9, Demetrio was the Director of Customer Experience for Cisco and Global Vice President of Professional Services for Broadsoft where he ran a 200-person team. In August we announced our partnership with TeamMate Technology to provide our customers with a Microsoft Teams direct routing integration. This integration offers a SIP trunk integration from Teams to KAZOO for making outbound and receiving inbound calls from within both the desktop and mobile Microsoft Teams application. We have paired the convenience of the MS Teams app with the resiliency and reliability of the KAZOO platform, along with the callflows, apps, and other essential tools available within KAZOO. The beta testing period is currently on-going, and we are very excited for the official release on October 3rd! September was a month for virtual events! We were a Gold Sponsor of Cavell’s Cloud Comms Summit, which was virtual again this year. Our new VP of Global Sales, Demetrio Rico, got on camera to give a keynote presentation about the rebirth of CPaaS, and our team attended sessions about Microsoft Teams, enhancing customer engagement, and challenges services providers can’t ignore. We also sponsored SpawnFest 2021, a BEAM-based hackathon, that took place virtually on September 18th and 19th. During the event, teams from around the world created the best BEAM-based applications they could, and judges selected winners in a variety of categories. It was an exciting event that we look forward to sponsoring again next year! Marketing Updates It wouldn’t be a 2600Hz newsletter without some media and press updates. Here are a few highlights from Q3: Our Co-Founder and Co-CEO Darren Schreiber sat down with Dave Michels and Evan Kirstel on the TalkingHeadz podcast to discuss the shifts and trends occurring in communications. VP of Global Sales Demetrio Rico was invited on the Cavell Cloud Conversations podcast to talk about crucial trends impacting partners and the channel UC Today featured 2600Hz in the articles How Can Channel Sales Benefit You? and Business Agility Can Slash Your Route to Market Times We published a few new blogs, including How Cloud Comms Providers Can Benefit from Business Agility and a Q&A with the organizers of SpawnFest, a BEAM-based hackathon that took place in September. We also released three new podcasts: What’s New with KAZOO featuring our CTO Karl Anderson, KAZOO & Microsoft Teams with guest Micah Singer, founder and managing director of TeamMate Technology, and SpawnFest!, a conversation with organizers about the hackathon.
