2600Hz Employees lazedo Posted December 12, 2016 2600Hz Employees Report Share Posted December 12, 2016 I just tested in production and its working. you can open a support ticket (include all details and samples) if its not working for you
FASTDEVICE
My understanding is, I should subscribe a BLF to <*98><extension> on the hosted platform I.e. *981001. And, if I were to dial say, *981001, it should take me to the vmbox of extension 1001. Am I understanding that correctly?
2600Hz Employees lazedo Posted December 12, 2016 2600Hz Employees Report Share Posted December 12, 2016 you need to subscribe to <*98><vm number> as described above.
FASTDEVICE
right, our extensions and vm numbers are one and the same. However, it's not working on my account. I'll send in a ticket.
FASTDEVICE
@lazedo - automagically a part of the feature started working around two days ago. My BLF is responding RED to new voice messages. However, my BLF key's value is set to *981001 and when I press the button it dials *981001 resulting in an error. When I manually dial or have the BLF key dial that value the phone responds with "unable to comply."

FASTDEVICE
I was able to create a callflow of *981001 that points to a VM. That solves the dial issue.
FASTDEVICE
@lazedo, been testing this feature and while it works initially, the BLF resets to idle state every 24 hours.
Guest
I'm trying to do the same thing. Does the BLF still reset for you? Also are you able to auto login to the VM box? Mine prompts for the mailbox # and password.
FASTDEVICE
2600hz is working with me to resolve the BLF resetting to idle after 24 hours. As for the auto-login I'm assuming your using the "Check Voicemail" advanced widget in Advanced Callflows. If so, it will always ask for box and password. Guest
yep - just for testing. I assume I can edit this callflow through the API to cure this?
FASTDEVICE
I haven't looked at what *98 passes as arguments, but "me thinks" it's possible.
