Anyone know a good place to buy phones that work with 2600 Mobile? I'm looking for the least amount of features and cheapest phones - something you'd give grandma. Flip phone, no data, no screen, long battery. Sprint has the Coolpad Snap for $96 but it gets bad reviews.
I previously tested the Kyocera DuraMax and it worked great but I can't seem to find anyone selling this at quantity. I need 2000 of 'em.
@2600 - do we support GSM phones on T-Mobile now or still only Sprint?

OK - it's a year later and I'm still trying to solve this problem. It seems the schema has been relaxed and I can now update the media ID in the menu to reference the parent/media_id format. Unfortunately all I get is dead air...but the menu functions (the caller can enter digits). Is there something preventing the media from streaming?

Are the SIP Ladder diagrams being added to the debug app as you demo'd at KazooCon? How about MOS Scores in the CDR?

Then you have to enable it in the phone. I use Yealink and it's just as simple as adding these lines to the config:
## SRTP ## account.1.srtp_encryption = 2 account.1.outbound_host = secure-us-east.p.zswitch.net account.1.sip_server_host.legacy = secure-us-east.p.zswitch.net
Or you can manually configure it. Just need to select the REQUIRE option for SRTP and point it to the secure server IP. Note the hosted platform doesn't have a us-central for some reason.

I have a prospect asking me what level of SRTP we support. Here's the list of options he has on his Avaya:
(1-srtp-aescm128-hmac80, 2-srtp-aescm128-hmac32, 3-srtp-aescm128-hmac80-unauth, 4-srtp-aescm128-hmac32-unauth)Any ideas?

yep - got it working yesterday with the help of Darren at Fast Device. It turns out it doesn't work without an approved_group_id with the listening user in part of that group.
So anyone know about whisper or barge now that we got monitor working? I found something called "intercept": https://github.com/2600hz/kazoo/blob/5e877f684639fa655de973e9295abf1cb74c8957/applications/callflow/doc/intercept.md
is that barge possibly?

it doesn't work - I get a system message saying "no channels" and then she hangs up on me. This must be disabled on the hosted platform. Booooooo

Thanks - I actually think the rudimentary module would work for my client's needs. They don't need full blown call center. These are for restaurants with 6-10 phones, just for training purposes.
If I land the deal i will fund it...just let me know how much!

Does anyone know if Eavesdrop is enabled on the hosted platform? I want to be able to listen in on calls for training purposes.

I'm using my own (non-redundant) stream...
but as of tomorrow it will be redundant!

Hey guys - I've been using shoutcast for customers since the summer and it works great. HOWEVER...when the stream dies all hell breaks loose and parked calls get disconnected. It seems to me the failback should be to play the system generic hold music but it's not doing that. Anyone else see this happening?

yeah - that works fine for hold music in the account document, but doesn't work in the call flow menu item since the limit is 64 characters and the IDs are looooong.

Does anyone know how to share media files for use in menus between parent and child accounts? I can do this via the API with hold music no problem using xxxxx/yyyyy where xxxx is the parent account ID and yyyy is the id of the media file in the parent account, however it doesn't work when trying to do this in a menu using the "greeting". The system doesn't accept more than 64 characters.
The use case is I have a customer with 200 locations, each with a sub account. They all need to share the main greeting for their auto attendant and I don't want to upload it 250 times...I want to reference the media ID of the file stored in the parent account.

Oooo that would be cool. I thought those were for TTS. Anyone know how to turn it on?
