  1. Hello All,

Your assistance is greatly appreciated in advance.

On Hosted with Yealink T53W phones, looking to limit outbound calling to only a select set of numbers on a specific subaccount.

Thought I might be able to do it in the carrier custom REGEX expressions but:

    - I can't select this carrier for my sub-account, says I've run out of IPs, so can't open the carrier templates location in the Carrier app but can easily use the partner's (main account's) carriers.

Thought next, maybe we can make the restrictions on the phones themselves but I can't seem to locate how to.

Lastly, I was able to sneak a carrier template into a fresh account and select ips, (can't replicate again now) but even with the custom carrier expressions, although it passes in the carrier template test, dialing from the phone fails.

Or even requiring a pin if a user wants to call a number outside the listed ones.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I believe three-way calling is a feature on most phones. KAZOO does have support for "eavesdrop" with various modes for the third party - I believe most folks call that "call barge".

Curious on the specifics of this, outside of Call Center pro. We have a customer who is looking to replicate their old PBX's ability of user B being able to bargein on user A's calls by pressing the "line" button.

Curious whether this can be replicated on hosted using shared line appearance and/or call pickup features? Using Yealink phones...

Call center Pro will definitely not do what the customer is desiring properly.

@Mitch Welcome to the world of Yealink Custom Configs!!!

Are you looking for a step by step on how to add/make changes via configs, so that the phone gets it's programming, versus you getting into the web interface every time?

@esoare, looking for some direction on how to setup a server to host yealink configs for retrieval. Need to change more features than advanced provisioner offers. I know there's a custom config URL field but I'm not sure what sort of protocol, server etc would be required.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, You will have to unlock the device, and change the url within the phone.

Sorry for reviving an aged post but working through something similar right now. When you say “change the url within the phone”, what do you mean exactly?

if I unlock the phone, change the url in advanced provisioner and generate new configs, is the url then applied to the phone automatically and/or do the phones need to be rebooted?

For a remote site with no onsite tech access and no vpn but need to change the provisioner url to grab different configs, what are the possibilities? (Wouldn’t want to get stuck with an inaccessible phone/site).

  5. Ok....I know we’ve had clients utilize our conference bridge service For approximately 60 participants before and we assumed the limits were based on the trunking options on the sub-account, so we increased that to account for it. There were no issues reported.

Until we setup/figure out api access, might have to do that again to be safe, although if there were no issues, I can deduce that our conference limite must be fairly high? Is there a default value?

  6. Hello All,

Looking to setup a shared line appearance on about 2 phones (Yealink T54S).

I've looked at the documentation at https://docs.2600hz.com/sysadmin/doc/operation/shared_line_appearance/ but I don't have ssh access where I can attempt to replicate easily.

The ringing on both devices, I get - easy enough with a ring group.

It's the BLF update that I can't seem to figure out.

The client basically wants one of their buttons (DSS-keys) to blink while the phone is ringing.

The workaround I'm thinking of is just creating a new "user" for the line, point the DID to that user and just register the phones' account 2 to that use (after creating generic sip devices/credentials for them). After that, pointing a DSS key to that line.

    Any help would be appreciated

He is referring to the app that lets you activate cell phones on the sprint network.  This is not a OTT Android/IOS app if that is what you were thinking.  Additionally, I think all available apps are active on sandbox without any special requests other than getting sandbox access to begin with.

I figured but i don't see the app option in sandbox.

  8. Hello,

@Darren Schreiber & @JR^ mentioned that it is possible (and how) to install some apps available in the sandbox and custom apps unto our cluster using cluster manager.

Some apps/capabilities we would definitely be interested in are "CSV Onboarding, Servicee Planner, Authentication, Telnyx /Integration.

I understand that the APIs are readily available, just really looking for someone to point us in the right direction.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I am trying to access the 2600hz mobile on the Sandbox, but that is not working.

Is it because the credit card isn't there?

When I open 2600hz mobile app from the App Exchange, it brings me to the credit card entry location...

I tried setting up the credit card, but that didn't work.

I get a blank screen on 2600hz Mobile App...

Wait, there's a "2600Hz mobile" option in sandbox? Is that by special request?

  10. Hello All,

During the last webinar, I’d asked about the possibility of integrating an already existing account with the upcoming integration of provisioner and yealink’s rps.

the reason for this request is this:

We already have almost 200 phones registered to rps and we were hoping to keep all the phones together (honestly good for inventory purposes), rather than having them now split over two different rps databases.

Also, what happens to the yealink phones already input in provisioner & rps at the point of this integration? I’m sure yealink’s rps only allows a Mac to be entered once. Would we have to migrate them all, one by one, to the provisioner-rps account or am I just over complicating things?
