  1. So they decided to post a 2022 report just this month? LOL!
  2. Because there is no roadmap. They indicated 3+ years ago that they would release a app market before they would release Kazoo 5. That app market has never come to fruition. I don't think there any more plans on Open Source. Even their Quaterly News report stopped over a year ago.
  3. Meantime? They have gone silent on anything with regards to open source. Even Sangoma has announced plans to go all SaaS in the future.
  4. Correct. It does not take 3+ years to come out with a app market.
  5. I see the last one was way back in July 2022. With that, what's up with the development of the market store, and Kazoo 5? Seem to be 3+ years late? Also, CentOS 7 is EOL next year, Will they end up like the Blue.Box project?
  6. I would think getting Kazoo version 5 out would be a higher priority than changing the theme of a forum which I have seen nobody complaining about.
  7. A caller in a queue should always be notified they are in a queue/hold. Possible to announce something like "you are number x on hold" and maybe play music.
  8. Call queue is when a series of callers are put on hold awaiting for someone to answer them. Call waiting is when a call comes into the extension while the extension is use, but continues to ring for the caller. The extension being called will hear a tone in their ear to indicate a call is coming in. and as well may see indication on the telephone screen.
  9. An easy solution is to just use pattern matching on incoming Caller IDs then send those to the voicemail
  10. The brand and model of telephone has nothing to do with how a call is handled when coming in. It is handled by the system. Just like you can tell the system to send all calls to a specific part of it , such as a ring group, you can also tell it to send certain numbers to voice mail.
  11. That's for your provider.
  12. I finally got around to watching the Webinar https://register.gotowebinar.com/recording/viewRecording/2363480917018222351/1870598442626046478/trent@voce.systems?registrantKey=2499620248672252942&type=ABSENTEEEMAILRECORDINGLINK I am interested, but I am seeing nothing on how to install and integrate the two. I would think that would be plastered all over the place to get people to use it. What's going on with that?
  13. Thank you for these clarifications. People not familiar are not even sure what to expect once the install is completed, nor given any guidance on what to do next after following the CentOS 7 install guide. I feel adding little things like that would certainly help people get into Kazoo.
  14. As of now it is in the Monster UI. In the docs it states: # Update Monster's config for Crossbar's URL sed -i "s/localhost/${IP_ADDR}/" /var/www/html/monster-ui/js/config.js However, "localhost," or any other IP address does not even exist in /var/www/html/monster-ui/js/config.js This means the documentation for installation is not correct. I was able to solve that with some help, but after adding the IP address, I restart and visit MonsterUI again, I am getting more errors There are some other minor issues in the documentation which are a problem also.
  15. It may help if the documentation for he CentOS 7 install documentation had the following for us new folks: More clear, or detailed information in some areas Updated information when things get changed More items to look at when some errors appear Because of those things, I still have been unable to get version 4 installed.
  16. That was short. I see you back in action already
