2600Hz Employees mc_ Posted May 10, 2021 2600Hz Employees Report Share Posted May 10, 2021 You may want to expand the log lines returned by the status command there to see what exactly caused the main process to exit.
mnoumanafzal875@gmail.com
i did it by expanding it .. nothing useful there too 3rd last line says enter in to the failed state. the fourth last show process exited and status =255. its show nothing other than this Edited May 11, 2021 by mnoumanafzal875@gmail.com (see edit history)
2600Hz Employees mc_ Posted May 11, 2021 2600Hz Employees Report Share Posted May 11, 2021 Check the startup logs in /var/log/kamailio/kamailio.log and see if it suggests anything? Could be that vanilla Kamailio started and bound for the IP/port already. Try stopping kamailio (not kazoo-kamailio) if so.
mnoumanafzal875@gmail.com
it was the issue in local.cfg file . these commands below were writing my host name and IP address at the required location but were unable to uncomment that configuration line in the file. i just uncomment it and restarted the service now its running . thank you very much for your help # Update the hostname in the config sed -i "s/kamailio\.2600hz\.com/${_HOSTNAME}/g" /etc/kazoo/kamailio/local.cfg # Update the IP addresses sed -i "s/127\.0\.0\.1/${IP_ADDR}/g" /etc/kazoo/kamailio/local.cfg

2600Hz Employees mc_ Posted May 14, 2021 2600Hz Employees Report Share Posted May 14, 2021 Whitelabel 404 errors are expected and fine, you haven't configured any yet. If you want to run some APIs youself: https://docs.2600hz.com/sysadmin/doc/install/configure_kazoo/ Otherwise use SmartPBX to create a device, then register your phone to your account and try a test call.
