AlanE Posted September 9, 2021 Report Posted September 9, 2021 hello, Does anyone know where I can get the source code of the latest freeswitch build used in 4.3? It shows FreeSWITCH Version 20.20.5~64bit ( 64bit) but this doesn't exist in the freeswitch repo https://github.com/signalwire/freeswitch/releases thx Quote
fmateo05 Posted September 9, 2021 Report Posted September 9, 2021 AFAIK, the latest stable version of FreeSWITCH must be 1.10.x Quote

AlanE Posted September 9, 2021 Author Report Posted September 9, 2021 [root@d1f1 ~]# fs_cli -x version FreeSWITCH Version 20.20.5~64bit ( 64bit) What does your 'yum info freeswitch' look like? Quote
fmateo05 Posted September 9, 2021 Report Posted September 9, 2021 I have installed it using github and compiled: git clone --depth 1 -b v1.10 https://github.com/signalwire/freeswitch I checked another centos rpm install (from another platform) and it shows 20.20.x (FreeSWITCH Version 20.20.5-47~64bit ) Quote
AlanE Posted September 9, 2021 Author Report Posted September 9, 2021 OK, at least thats consistent. so I guess we are back where we started and we still don't know where to go to get the source code for 20.20.5. Quote

Alane, I have the same question as you. Have you finally found the answer? Quote
Administrators mc_ Posted October 29, 2021 Administrators Report Posted October 29, 2021 I'm trying to get an "official" doc on this but my understanding is 2600Hz and Signalwire have agreements to let 2600Hz distribute the newer versions of FreeSWITCH with KAZOO but that Signalwire releases the source on a delayed basis. Something to that effect, anyway. So yes, packages from us will reflect more recent work in FreeSWITCH than is available via their github. When I have an "official" doc, I'll get it posted here for everyone. Quote
80tech Posted November 1, 2021 Report Posted November 1, 2021 @mc_. Thank you for your reply. So, what the kazoo-freeswitch shows version 20.20.5 is named by 2600Hz company. It doesn't relay on the version's name from Signalwire. Until now, we can just get the open source code at https://github.com/signalwire/freeswitch. Do I understand correctly? Tommy Quote
RuhNet Posted August 20 Report Posted August 20 @mc_ did you ever get the "official" word on this? I'm assuming since it's been several years that the version used with Kazoo 4.3 isn't a more recent version than what FS makes available publicly, so it would be nice to know which version/tag/commit of Freeswitch sources should match Kazoo 4.3.
