Hold Music and Parking Music

Hi all,

Is it possible to have no music playing while on HOLD, but music to be played while a call is on PARK? None of the options available from the Advance Call Flow seem to work for what I'm trying to accomplish.

Let's say there's a big conference call at 3 pm. There's 12/15 users already in the call but the 3 remaining have not joined yet. One of the user already in the conference call decides to call the remaining 3 people and advise them to join conference call. When making this call, the other 11 users can hear the HOLD music playing.

We'd like to avoid having people in a conference call hear hold music.

Good idea - I would file this as a feature request but to specifically have hold music ignored while in your own conference if you want to do that. Not sure if it's possible.

I *think* in our system that if they're using a system phone and our conference bridge, we automatically disable the hold music for this very reason. Are you sure this issue exists?

A system phone, while in a conference, will not play hold music when the conference call is placed on hold. Additionally, I can't place the conference call in park.
