  1. Hello,

I have customer with 3 users overseas (I believe using Yealink). I need to provision their phones to Kazoo, but before I factory reset thier phones I'd liketo make sure everything is working fine.

So instead of reseting thier phones is there a way I could set up the Provisioner to use "Account 2" only on these 3 phones to test that the extensions and outbound calling works before wiping the phone?

  2. Hello,

I have a new customer who would like to the ability to turn on /off "After Hours" inbound routing rules manually (not based on time).  Their old system allowed them to do this but I'm having trouble setting this up.

The current inbound rule sends the calls to  a "group". they want to sent the calls to a fowarding number after hours. Can a feature code be setup to change inbound rules?

Any  advice would be greatly appreciated

  3. hi,

I set up the device as a regular phone and it worked. The main settings for the functionality of the Door Buzzer was on the device itself.

It was a trial and error process to get it working correctly as per the customers requirement's.

I planned/plan on typing up the steps I used to set this up  as a tutorial for the community, but I got a bit sidetracked:(

  4. Hello,

Does anyone have experience setting up Grandstream GDS3705 Door system with a Yealink T46S.

I currently installed the GDS3705 but im having issues getting it to work the Yealinks using 2600hz.

Ideally I'd like the Grandstream's keypad to be able to dial an extension.

Any detailed instructions would be super greatly appreciated.

    Hi All

I am trying to figure out how to do warm call transfer, cold transfer is done easily and without any issue.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

I"m trying to set up a warm transfer as well on a Yealink T46S. Can This be done via Advanced Provisioner or only via the phones web interface?

Did you by any chance re-assign phones or change MAC addresses on devices? Doing this will wipe out anything set in advanced provisioner.

I re-assigned a device last week, but it was only one and I factory reset it first. I didn’t do anything yesterday to these devices (at least not that I could think of). Would there be a log anywhere which would show when this occurred?

If you rename the device or change any device settings in the UI it will wipe out the advanced provisioner profile.

Now that I think about it, I did add “STRP” to a few accounts last night in the UI!

  7. Hi,

Not sure what happened, but this morning a received 5 calls from one account saying they lost all their combo key settings (the main default line worked). I have no idea what could have triggered this or why those particular users.

I have been receiving many "loss of registration" e-mail alerts as well lately which is also a concern.

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated, especially since i"m worried it could continue happening.

    The devices are Yealink T46S's

  8. Thanks a million for your explanation, I haven’t tried it out yet, but it makes sense. I’ll delete the incoming call handling in SmartPBX and rebuild both call flows in Advanced Callflows.

Is there a way to test out callflows/new configurations in a text environment instead of my live accounts? Every time I try to experiment with different options I get a pop up saying my bill is going to change. It makes it hard to play around with the system.

  9. I'm getting a bit closer but still have some issues. In my test scenario the Users don't have devices so their ext defaults to VM

In SmartPBX>Main Number>Incoming Call Handling, when choosing Virtual Receptionist>Main Menu

I could choose "Press 1 for USER", and when a caller press's "1" it goes straight to the Users VM since their isn't a device associated.

BUT, in the attached CallFlow if a caller press's "1" the call disconnects, it will only go to VM if "Press 1" is assigned to a VM.

Is there perhaps something built into the Main Number section in SmartPBX?

  10. Hello,

I have a customer who would like to add another "Main Number" to his account but have its own callflow.

Currently their main number is set up in SmartPBX via "Incoming Call Handling", and under Virtual Receptionist by

Main Menu I assign "Press1 for ..." and also set up the greeting.

For the 2nd main number I went to advanced call flows added the new number then "Menu" but under Menu I only see an option

for greetings. How do i add "Press1 for...."

Also, could someone please advise if this is the correct to set up what I'm trying to accomplish.

    Thanks
