Jack Noe Posted September 26, 2019 Report Posted September 26, 2019 Hi All. We have a specific extension that has a TOD set. for specific hours, and for all other hours. Can we set to override the time of day, and set for closed or open? This isnt the main number on the account, but a specific extension set in a callflow.
FASTDEVICE Posted September 26, 2019 Report Posted September 26, 2019 (edited) Please search the forum as this has been covered extensively with many examples. Here is one discussion that outlines the usage Edited September 26, 2019 by FASTDEVICE (see edit history)
Brian Dunne Posted September 26, 2019 Report Posted September 26, 2019 To point you in the right direction, you'll want to manipulate the `enabled` property of the Time of Day Rule: https://docs.2600hz.com/dev/applications/crossbar/doc/temporal_rules/
Rus Yates-Aylott Posted September 26, 2019 Report Posted September 26, 2019 We have achieved this via a bespoke callflow set up to provide feature codes that toggle the 'Forced On' or 'Forced Off' attributes of a ToD element. Hope this is useful
Jack Noe Posted September 26, 2019 Author Report Posted September 26, 2019 Thank you all for replying !
Jack Noe Posted October 2, 2019 Author Report Posted October 2, 2019 (edited) Thank you all. If i have an account with 50 users, will i have to set 50 time of days, and 50 star code, if i want all the users to have the option of a meeting ? Is there any easier way ? extremerotary Posted October 8, 2019 Report Posted October 8, 2019 Using the DND button could work here 😉 . Otherwise, yes, you'll need to create a TOD per user and a callflow for each to toggle the TOD rules. I know of no other solution
Jack Noe Posted October 23, 2019 Author Report Posted October 23, 2019 Thank you extremerotary! DND would be to their default voicemail.
