ryan@m2sintegration.com Posted April 2, 2018 Report Posted April 2, 2018 Hey, everyone. Having some issues with BLF keys constantly flashing on a Yealink EXP40. Here's the scenario: There's two receptionist with heavy call volume. Both receptionist have the same phone setup. Yealink T46S, along with (2) Yealink EXP 40 expansion modules. There's a total of 35 BLF keys on each phone, for each receptionist. The issue just started to arise when we added the other receptionist's phone. But on both phone's expansion modules, the buttons will randomly keep flashing, but only some of them. No incoming calls for those users/extensions. A reboot temporarily alleviates the issues. A few keys stay blinking anyway, but not nearly as many. Can anyone point me in the right direction to start looking? Thanks! - Ryan Quote
Olaolu Abiodun Posted April 10, 2018 Report Posted April 10, 2018 Same issue here except on a T58V, no Expansion module. Anyone with any updates? Quote
Joel Posted April 11, 2018 Report Posted April 11, 2018 is this happening in the hosted version? I’ve seen this happen where the presence status will get stuck and we can reset the presence status via the api and it’s better.. I’m not sure what causes it though to be honest. Quote
esoare Posted May 3, 2018 Report Posted May 3, 2018 @ryan@m2sintegration.com IS this still happeing? Are you on the Hosted 2600hz platform? Do you have your own clusters? This will help with the troubleshooting esoare @Joel Things have been pretty stable for me on the Hosted platform since the last upgrade settled down. How about you? Quote
Joel Posted May 4, 2018 Report Posted May 4, 2018 @esoare I'm running a self hosted cluster and since the last update this has settled down for us too. I still see it happen, but it typically fixes itself pretty quickly. Quote
safarov Posted May 4, 2018 Report Posted May 4, 2018 Issue is tracked herehttps://github.com/kamailio/kamailio/issues/1489 Quote
ryan@m2sintegration.com Posted May 4, 2018 Author Report Posted May 4, 2018 The Yealink phones were pointing to the wrong set of servers. I checked the RTP status page of the Yealink phones. The Roundtripdelay, SymmOneWayDelay, Packet Loss and Jitter numbers were way up. The phones were connected to the Central servers. Once I pointed them to the East servers manually, all of those problems disappeared. More of an issue on my end! Quote
esoare Posted May 4, 2018 Report Posted May 4, 2018 @ryan@m2sintegration.com Thanks for: A) Confirming resolution B) Stating where the problem was even though it's tough, Admin configuration issues that are identified on a question, helps out with a) we know it's not in the service b) gives us other Admin's a heads up on what NOT to do. Thanks again @ryan@m2sintegration.com esoare Quote
