esoare Posted October 31, 2017 Report Posted October 31, 2017 Issue with the template for a Yealink T46G phone with no additional programming. Using either firmware 80.0.130 or 81.0.110 Quote
esoare Posted October 31, 2017 Author Report Posted October 31, 2017 @Plau So the Combo Key's 1 and two are just defaulted. But the Account 1 is showing up on Combo Key 2 also. See picture above for the phone. Combo Key 1 Combo Key 2 Quote
Administrators Darren Schreiber Posted November 1, 2017 Administrators Report Posted November 1, 2017 What do you mean here? FYI I don't believe we've updated the provisioner code base in weeks now... Quote
2600Hz Employees Plau Posted November 1, 2017 2600Hz Employees Report Posted November 1, 2017 I think I know what's going on. There's a bug where the combo keys are offset by 1 causing both combo key 1 and 2 to be set to Line Key for Line 1. I just worked on a fix yesterday which I tested and fixes that issue. Quote

When will this fix, be on the hosted production? Edited November 2, 2017 by esoare edit (see edit history) Quote
SPC-Tim Posted November 6, 2017 Report Posted November 6, 2017 (edited) I am having issues with T46G's not provisioning any template changes made to it. The devices are running firmware 81.0.110 as well. Have you heard anything @esoare? Edited November 6, 2017 by SPC-Tim (see edit history) Quote
esoare Posted November 6, 2017 Author Report Posted November 6, 2017 (edited) I haven't heard anything. Don't forget to "Unlock" if you have the phone built for more than 24hours before it connect's. I am resetting a T46G right now to factory default to test on my end. I use RPS, so will see if it works here. Will post results shortly. p.s. I set the firmware to the 81.0.110 that you stated. Stand by. Edited November 6, 2017 by esoare added p.s. (see edit history) Quote
esoare Posted November 6, 2017 Author Report Posted November 6, 2017 (edited) @SPC-Tim. Double check that the device is unlocked , check next post for additional troubleshooting. My Phone grabbed info from the Provisioning server. @Darren Schreiber & @Plau So this is what happened on a T46G factory reset with firmware 81.0.110 (on a T42, I see a double Account 1 on Combo Key 2.) esoare Posted November 6, 2017 Author Report Posted November 6, 2017 @SPC-Tim After the unlock. I would suggest going to Setting's Auto Provisioner tab on the web interface, and double check that you have the phone "auto provisioning" on Reboot, and every 1440 minutes. You can also "Click" on "Auto Provision" button. Hope that helps. esoare Quote

2600Hz Employees Plau Posted November 6, 2017 2600Hz Employees Report Posted November 6, 2017 @esoare Can you resave your T46S/T46G on production and reboot to see if it's still an issue? I had to test the fix on production because I could not reproduce it in my dev environment. Currently, only those models have changes, but I have updated all the templates. I'll update this Friday evening if I don't find any issues. Quote
esoare Posted November 6, 2017 Author Report Posted November 6, 2017 @Plau I changed Combo Key 2 as a Speed dial to *98. That comes through, But I still get the two additional pages with the Testing Account. Quote
esoare Posted November 6, 2017 Author Report Posted November 6, 2017 @Plau Would you recommend a complete removal and rebuild with the MAC address? Quote
2600Hz Employees Plau Posted November 6, 2017 2600Hz Employees Report Posted November 6, 2017 @esoare That might fix the problem, but it's not the best solution. My intention with the work I did was that you could simply regenerate the config file, restart the phone and the issue would be fixed. Quote
esoare Posted November 6, 2017 Author Report Posted November 6, 2017 @Plau Understood. Won't rebuild from scratch. Shot you off a message with the MAC. Quote
2600Hz Employees Plau Posted November 6, 2017 2600Hz Employees Report Posted November 6, 2017 @esoare So it looks like there's something else I overlooked. The reason why there are multiple pages of keys set to Line 1 (and I think this is the issue you were actually talking about) is because all combo keys are defaulted to be Line Keys and with a recent update, the combo keys > number of accounts are now set to blank instead of the last account number. I'm working on solving that now. Quote
esoare Posted November 6, 2017 Author Report Posted November 6, 2017 @Plau Perfect! Thanks for troubleshooting so quick. Quote
