The only thing I can think of is that OVH is blocked as vendor? I'll try now with a VM on my home network to see what happens.

In that case you can use a kind of proxy that exits to USA I remember this happened to my environment when located outsude of USA. Used a proxy or socks5 with IP from there, and  the error did stop showing

Posted

I was sure it was a geofencing in place. However, I am also using a VPS in USA and still having the same issue.  I'll use a vpn tunnel to my home and see what happens. More soon!

@Gizmo It seems to be that there is a geo restriction with 2600hz repos. I was able to make some progress and at least able to install some things using a VirtualBox VM on my computer. However,  I'm done for the day... I'll continue at some point during the week.

Thank you!

Don't think that applies to me. Since my errors are somewhat different, it might be more convenient to open a separate topic? My messages are now a bit lost and I can't really get any further

@fmateo05

I continued with the installation but now I'm running into this. How can there be so many errors?

Could it be that I'm doing something wrong? I first installed the recommended one but it didn't work, uninstalled it and then installed the newer one according to the manual.

You might try using journalctl to see what logging the rabbitmq process did? The screenshot doesn't have much useful info for why rabbit failed.

As explained in the early replies on this topic. Please use a kind of US based proxy to perform yum install without issues like these (timeout more than 30 seconds). That is if your server/VPS IP is located outside US.

Mine is ProxyChains (with a previous search  kind  of proxy list)

https://hidemyna.me/en/proxy-list/?country=US&type=s#list

[root@test-kz-rpm ~]# proxychains yum install -y https://packages.2600hz.com/centos/7/stable/2600hz-release/4.3/2600hz-release-4.3-0.el7.centos.noarch.rpm

[root@test-kz-rpm ~]# proxychains yum-config-manager --disable freeswitch

[root@test-kz-rpm ~]# proxychains yum install -y kazoo-rabbitmq

Thanks, i have managed to get a US based server and install the packages but i am no stuck at this error:

when i give the following prompt: "sup kazoo_media_maintenance import_prompts /opt/kazoo/sounds/en/us/"

this is the output:

Connection to service failed!
Failed to connect to service kazoo_apps@rpt.com with cookie change_me
  Possible fixes:
    * Ensure the Kazoo service you are trying to connect to is running on the host
    * Ensure that you are using the same cookie as the Kazoo node, `sup -c <cookie>`
    * Verify that the hostname being used is a Kazoo node

Please assist.

Hi all!

I trying to install Kazoo on my VPS in a VM with SentOS 7 (minimal)

The first steps are oke, but if i put in the command: yum install -y https://packages.2600hz.com/centos/7/stable/2600hz-release/4.3/2600hz-release-4.3-0.el7.centos.noarch.rpm

Then ill get an error "Transaction check error" File /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-FREESWITCH from install of 2600Hz............. conflicts with the file from package freeswitch-release-repo-0-1.noarch

How to solve this?

Kind regards

Michael

I managed to install everything  (although I had same problem)  and also avoiding NTP install error by running these commands :

# Download and install updated FreeSWITCH repository
echo "signalwire" > /etc/yum/vars/signalwireusername
echo ${TOKEN} > /etc/yum/vars/signalwiretoken
wget https://$(< /etc/yum/vars/signalwireusername):$(< /etc/yum/vars/signalwiretoken)@freeswitch.signalwire.com/repo/yum/centos-release/freeswitch-release-repo-0-1.noarch.rpm
rpm -i --replacefiles freeswitch-release-repo-0-1.noarch.rpm

after

# Add 2600Hz RPM server
yum install -y ${LATEST_RELEASE}
Example: yum install -y https://packages.2600hz.com/centos/7/stable/2600hz-release/4.3/2600hz-release-4.3-0.el7.centos.noarch.rpm

# Clear yum cache
yum clean all

and not before.
