Michael D Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Does anyone know if there is a way to lower the volume on hold music on the platform side? Or, is there a best practice regarding file specifications that can make music sound lower or higher? Thanks MD
Karl Stallknecht Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Funny, normally people tell us it's too quiet!
esoare Posted March 3, 2016 Report Posted March 3, 2016 @ MD . I use Audacity to bump up or down the DB levels on files. It's a touch technical, but a couple of hours banging your head at it / google searches, should get you rolling.
TJ Forsman Posted January 23, 2019 Report Posted January 23, 2019 Where does the original music file live if i want to get a copy of it to download and edit with Audacity? I had the same idea but am having a hard time locating the original file.
TJ Forsman Posted February 12, 2019 Report Posted February 12, 2019 I did find an answer on this one in case anyone needs it. after talking to users in the live chat i found the system just uses the default freeswitch MOH. This can be downloaded from https://freeswitch.org/stash/projects/FS/repos/freeswitch-sounds/browse in the music music directory.
tomas_ Posted February 20, 2019 Report Posted February 20, 2019 Strange, one of our clients also complained that the MOH is very loud. We've used the same music for years without complains... I uploaded a sound file that I've been edited with Audacity, now the client is happy again
fmateo05 Posted March 31, 2019 Report Posted March 31, 2019 Head to shout.conf.xml and change: to: Restart of mod_shout is required
