Marie Posted May 13, 2015 Report Posted May 13, 2015 I am testing user feature Inbound Call Recording. I have enabled this feature on my user account but it is not doing anything. I have entered my Google Drive shared link and set share permissions to anyone who has this link. My questions so far.1. Do we have to use an FTP server url? If so, how do we set permissions and secure?2. Is there going to be an indicator alerting caller that the call may be recorded?3. Is there going to be Outbound call recording available as well as Inbound?
Michael D Posted May 13, 2015 Report Posted May 13, 2015 Marie, I posted an ftp solution on the previous forum I'm going to post it here when I have a moment https://hz2600.hosted.jivesoftware.co... Hope this helps MD
Michael D Posted May 13, 2015 Report Posted May 13, 2015 In the URL: field , instead of http:// use ftp://yourlogin:yourpassword@yourdoma... e.g. ftp://recordingtest:password123@coolc...
Marie Posted May 15, 2015 Author Report Posted May 15, 2015 Thanks Michael. That worked for inbound call recording setup. Do you know if we are able to setup outbound call recording?
Michael D Posted May 15, 2015 Report Posted May 15, 2015 I'm not aware of any outbound recording, but we are interested as well :)
2600Hz Employees Katie Orton Posted May 15, 2015 2600Hz Employees Report Posted May 15, 2015 Thank you Michael! Go ahead and create outbound recording as an idea, and anyone who agrees can say "Me too"!
esoare Posted August 4, 2016 Report Posted August 4, 2016 Do you run your own? Or do you use a "hosted" Ftp Service? Is it secured? SFTP?
Karl Stallknecht Posted August 4, 2016 Report Posted August 4, 2016 We just setup an FTP server in one of our data centers and did it this way. But no, it isn't SFTP, it's regular FTP.
