  1. 2600hz, can you please provide an official response ?
  2. Karl, that music triggers some intense emotions with me. That is the music of the Cisco TAC black hole http://www.theatlantic.com/technology...
  3. Some of the Avaya and Cisco enthusiasts love to ask about this feature. (even though they do not use it)
  4. Had a few customers ask about the ability to barge into calls and to use silent monitoring of calls Does 2600hz have these features? Caller A barges into Caller B's phone call Caller A listens to Caller B's phone call Thanks
  5. RIA, I advise using a conf brideg in general, but some users love piling up participants (why? so when they get disconnected , you have to disrupt the whole call to add them back in?) Never worked with Grandstream, good to know they can do 6 adhoc. Polycom claims they can do up to 4 on a sounpoint IP550 http://community.polycom.com/t5/VoIP/... thanks for the feedback
  6. @ Karl, exactly , call number, conf, call number , conf Manually, through phone
  7. On Ad Hoc? (not conference Bridge) If so, did you have to configure anything special on the phone config? MD
  8. What is the maximum number of ad hoc conference participants that can be added to 1 conference on the 2600hz hosted platform? I have tested on the Polycom IP550 and yealink T22P, max was myself, aand 2 others (3) MD
  9. Katie, this is working exactly as you mentioned once I filled in the Main extenions on the users in smart pbx. This is great! Thanks MD
  10. Marie, I have the same issue. Did you get an error when you first tried to apply the prepend?
  11. Joy, depending on the state of the phone (old firmware, factory defaulted, or pre existing config) I have seen similar behavior when the phone had older firmware and goes through at least 1 reboot I'll pay attention to it going forward MD
  12. @Raj- Not sure if the question was directed at me, but I'm not using any ACD/Call Queueing
  13. Marie, This works with Yealink T22Ps, and Polycom 550s for me. Haven't tested Bria or Zoiper soft clients
  14. Joy, Here is what worked for me: 1-Delete the phones from the Kazoo UI (if they are provisioned there) 2-factory default the phone 3-enter the p3.zswitch.net for the provisioning server: 4-follow this: https://2600hz.desk.com/customer/port... Important: make sure the tag SN set to UA is set to enabled Hope this helps MD
  15. Joy, do you have other polycoms that provision ok (like 550 and 335)?
  16. Will this functionality be added to the User Features fields for a user in Monster? Right now, if you create a user in monster, the call flow doesn't show up in the advanced call flow editor Note: This conversation was created from a reply on: Any details on functionality of Presence ID in Device/Advanced Tab?.
  17. I wouldn't create sub accounts for the different companies , it will create the need for 10 digit dialing and incur pstn costs for each call. Also, creating a sip user per company will incur device costs (unless that is in your favor) We use Karl A's method mentioned "prepend" for example, one of my partners has an old vonage number he ported over. He can see "VON" on the phone screen letting him know it is vonage, not his normal calls to his DID. MD
  18. Marie, Will all of the phones/agents who will ultimately answering the call be on the hosted monster platform?
  19. I'm not aware of any outbound recording, but we are interested as well :)
  20. In the URL: field , instead of http:// use ftp://yourlogin:yourpassword@yourdoma... e.g. ftp://recordingtest:password123@coolc...
  21. Marie, I posted an ftp solution on the previous forum I'm going to post it here when I have a moment https://hz2600.hosted.jivesoftware.co... Hope this helps MD
  22. Katie, any feedback about the question I posted here earlier?
  23. First off, Excellent job getting the Branding App Launched! I'm trying to determine why I cannot create Branding of my Reseller Sub accounts See diagram : I get this when I try to set up branding under the sub account: This is possible in the Kazoo UI. Am I doing this incorrectly? Thank you MD
  24. Folks, I have been testing BLFs with the MonsterUI/Advanced Provisioner. The results seem to be the same on both Yealink T22 and Polycom IP 550s Basically, you add the numeric Extension number to the address field of the feature key/line key Like this: Seems to work consistently when the account was created in Monster If the account was added in Kazoo UI, but the source phone existed in the Kazoo UI/Call flow previously, does not work as expected. For example, we recreated our users/devices in the monster ui with advanced provisioner. If any of these previously existing phones are added as a BLF SOURCE, it does not work If we create a new user/device in Monster/AdvProvisioner it does work as the Source for a BLF The destination phone can be a preexisting kazoo Ui phone What is the best practice for implementing BLFs? Should the BLF address field be the numeric extension? Should the BLF address field be the alpha numeric sip username (user_xyzx?) If the user has multiple devices, will blf reflect all device status? Thanks
