Michael D replied to Marie's topic in Product Discussion
Maybe more of, the primary device is not registered any longer so the call goes to an alternate device (landline, cell phone, etc) -
Automate Call Forwarding when Customer's Internet is Down?

Marie, you can associate a landline or mobile device to the phone where calls ring in. Or create a find me follow me . -
I'm curious, when the term "QOS" is mentioned in this thread. Are we talking about the ability for a router to perform some traffic shaping? Other than that, what else can be done? if you mark packets on the egress towards someone like Comcast, they are not given any priority once they leave your router. (unless this is something beyond basic business broadband circuit)

THanks

Hey, what Mikrotik router and firwall models have you used?

Also, I use http://www.pingtest.net on a firefox browser via wired ethernet connection . If you get less than a B grade with Packet loss, Ping time, or Jitter. Chances are the connection is going to be problematic with VoIP Also, try this test http://www.ringcentral.com/support/ca... hth MD

What is the Official Monster Advanced provisioner URL
Michael D posted a topic in Product Discussion
I'm testing Advanced provisioner currently with a Polycom 550. The Advanced provisioner is advising using this URL: https://p.s.zswitch.net This url does not seem to be working, or I have the polycom misconfigured Thanks MD -
Thanks,

No problem, just was curious if someone did actually get this scenario to work . I'll try it out Thanks

Does anyone know if there is a way to lower the volume on hold music on the platform side? Or, is there a best practice regarding file specifications that can make music sound lower or higher? Thanks MD

Coincidentally, I am trying to figure this out as well. This solution kills a great deal of Time of day holiday routing /call flows for us

Hi 100T, Yes, it is working pretty well for the last 2 weeks (new install) This customer relies heavily on Park zones (Monitored Call Park) There was an issue about 2 weeks ago, where all the presence stopped. Rebooting the phones resolved it. This particular install was created completely in kazoo ui, and the sip usernames are numeric Let me know if I can answer any questions **Also, we are using hosted MD

Auto Provisioning Polycom IP 450 and 550's fails
Michael D replied to Joy's topic in Product Discussion
Also, could it simply be that on the other internet connections there was a firewall blocking the provisioner? "In addition, the client should allow access to our web and API servers on: 80 TCP 443 TCP 8000 TCP 8443 TCP" -
Auto Provisioning Polycom IP 450 and 550's fails

From what I understand, if there are too many requests to the provisioning server from non phones/scans, you'll get blocked I open a case and give them a heads up if I think there is an issue -
Auto Provisioning Polycom IP 450 and 550's fails
Michael D replied to Joy's topic in Product Discussion
Joy, The server type is set to http too, right? Also, from the same public IP as the phones, do the provisioner optios still show on the device (KAzoo ui, device) If not, your IP may be blocked by 2600hz MD -
Hi, Does anyone have a Grandstream GXP2160/40 configuration that seems to work well on the hosted platform? We have a reseller who has had the same 4 phones registered for 2 months, but today started seeing 403 Forbidden errors when trying to dial out. The errors cleared after rebooting. Can anyone share their working grandstream configuration? Network Settings "NAT Traversal" None ? Sip Settings? Any advice would be great Thanks MD
