  1. i am really not good at API,  So excuse for the simple simple question..  how do I generate an Auto token to start working with the APIs?   if someone can please explain it in very very simple terms, i would appreciate.....  Thank you
  2. no we did now, have you? is it stable?  BTW the Viking VoIP door-phone is not ready for prime time,  does not have a configurable port number no outbound proxy,  no SRV, has no web access works only with a downloadable program etc....
  3. We are also testing now a Viking VoIP doorphone (same idea) it's much cheaper, about 250, will see..
  4. Yup, it works with POE, just connect the two wires from the buzzer to the back of the cyberdata device and you're good to go,
  5. So for new installations we always have VOIP doorbells like cyberdata, it's ringing a call Flow that Rings all phones and it can even ring a cell phone that you can buzz back from a cell phone, it's not hard to install it's very easy, it just costs about $4-500 each door, Aiphone is only an option if you want to have ringing at one location, but if you have a couple of rooms in the office and you want the doorbell ringing in each room or buzzing back from a cell phone then this is not an option
  6. There's no provisioning in kazoo for ATAs yet, you would need to create a device and register an ATA manually, then the physical work connecting the device with the buzzer, which is not easy BTW, It involves connecting two cables from the relay, to a pair of the phone cable that is connected to the ATA, ( totally not easy if you never did it)
  7. I think Im missing something.. the main secretary will page through a different system, not the polycom phones and not kazoo, right? So why should you need to pay for their PBX? the page doesn't have to do it the phones or with VoIP at all,
  8. if the phone is registered to any system,  Multicast page should work
  9. if the old system is a "Panasonic doorbell system" i guess you would need to change the doorbell,  if its a viking doorbell then you can just make it work with a ATA,  we buy CyberData doorbells, (very expensive.... if anyone know of a good VoIP doorbell let me know here)
  10. there is a request open on this  https://2600hz.atlassian.net/browse/KAZOO-5223 let's hope they'll get it done
  11. is there a way push across ALL Yealink phones from provisioning "Accept SIP Trust Server Only" to yes?  so that Ghost Calls or Scan Calls should be blocked?
  12. Yes we're absolutely still interested in this
  13. Darren I really appreciate your understanding, I don't know if it's only us, but we have a huge need for that, I know a lot of our clients are not making phone calls that they're supposed to make now, because it must come up a different caller ID when they're calling certain banks or certain people ETC,  ( what we did the last week is crazy,  but they call us  with the complaint, we change the caller ID on there device,  they are making the call and then they're calling us back to change it back to the normal outbound caller ID... again thanks
  14. this trick of using the "prepend caller ID" seems to be broken since the update to 4.0, anyone has a way around that? or maybe we can have a 2600HZ solution for the ticket https://2600hz.atlassian.net/browse/KAZOO-5100

    Snom PA1

its not working for us, i see in the logs, the Snom is sending back a 404 Not found, very interesting..  when i register the same snom with the same setting on our old system, it works right away..
  17. we have a Snom PA1 that is registered, but when calling the Snom, it goes to voicemail, (yes auto answer is on)  can anyone export please a XML file from a Snom PA1 and post it here?  (Settings/Click here to save the settings in XML format)  Delete the SIP credentials,
  18. the new user portal is a very good start, looks much nicer and getting more features... anyone know, what is the "contact List" in the user portal? is this like a speed dial feature? the Notifications Logs in debug tool is very nice too,
  19. The Sandbox server is public? If not can I have a login?
  20. @karl I don't see anything wrong with what Darren suggested, you can never be protected 100 % if theyr having issues with the internet the best solution could be that it should go to your cell phone, maybe a suggestion could be, only if the phone was not registered for the last 10 minutes or so only then it should be forwarded
  21. What we are waiting the most, I think is call recording... from the 4.0 announcement post, it fid look like in the first couple of months it will not be exposed in the front end UI, so if you can please make it clear, when call recording will be easily available to configure, that would be very much appreciated, as we have a lot of clients waiting for it, LOTS LOTS and also when on demand call recording will be available, (DTMF)
  22. I don't have access to that link, can an admin please allow me to access the link?
  23. Check out Voip Innovations hosted billing platform,
  24. is there a way to block an incoming call from coming in to the system based on the caller ID?
