  1. @Darren As I think through that request more clearly, I'm thinking what would be nice is the ability to connect a shoudcast url to a callflow, much like play media. I confused the request with a device as I'm able to do this using a sip: uri that plays music on hold.
  2. Here's an idea... How about providing us a device that can stream a URL much like the SIP URI device. I can think of endless possibilities for use and monetizing.
  3. I can confirm that streaming music now works in production. You must configure through the API in order to make it work. IMHO, it's freakin' awesome. Big thanks 2600hz team for listening and making it possible!
  4. Here is the pulldown for Extension and Numbers.
  5. You mean something like this? If so, we have it.
  6. Apart from, "Reliability (Internet outage/power outage)" the other points can be accomplished with a SIP app. Cons: 1. Can't (easily) port client with existing mobile contract. 2. Difficult to provide multiline contract discounts   3. Competiveness on mobile plans may lead to high overage costs 4. SIP Integration cannot be sold separately for existing plans. 5. No hold or call transfer 6. 3 digits or less are not sent to 2600hz
  7. Any constructive thoughts on selling mobile service? My market is small offices where the owners tend to have multiline "family" type plans that are unwilling to break these plans for native SIP integration.  What would work great for me is if the native SIP integration was portable and could be sold on top of an existing plan. Also, has anyone done a pros and cons of the features, service bundle, and how it compares to a SIP application like GrandStream's Wave?
  8. I put the solution here: https://github.com/fastdevice/Call-Recording I'm no PHP expert by any means, so feel free to modify for better error handling and performance.
  9. provide me your email and I'll get in touch with you.
  10. It beats using FTP, as the PHP script can be modified to organize recordings by extension, inbound, and outbound. And, it will auto delete "unlink" recordings after a set number of days.
  11. Yes. First I would recommend finding a shared web hosting company that supports PHP. I use 1and1 with their basic hosting package. I believe I'm paying $5 monthly. Now some may turn their nose up at 1and1, but I've never had a problem and use their Cloud Server farms for my portals and bigger implementations. That said, I have a PHP script; modified version of the one from 2600hz's example for streaming recordings. I can give it to you. It's one file and it works great.   With the file installed, all you have to do is place a custom url in each "start recording" that points to your web hosting and the script file. That's basically how it works.
  12. Tuly, if you have web hosting space, it's really easy to roll your own solution.
  13. Never used, but hear CradlePoint is a good solution for high availability incorporating 4G LTE failover.
  14. It appears that when a call gets forwarded, the system creates two call recordings; the first being, "Your call cannot be completed as dialed..." and the other a proper recording of the conversation.
  15. I'm getting a lot of zero length files being created. Is anyone else having this issue? I'm not looking for coding solution to prevent them, but just curious what scenarios are creating them. Also, I'm getting a lot of, "This call cannot be completed as dialed" recordings. Any thoughts on how these get created?
  16. This is something I've discussed with Aaron several years back. Glad to hear it may be available soon.
  17. I haven't looked at what *98 passes as arguments, but "me thinks" it's possible.
  18. 2600hz is working with me to resolve the BLF resetting to idle after 24 hours. As for the auto-login I'm assuming your using the "Check Voicemail" advanced widget in Advanced Callflows. If so, it will always ask for box and password.
  19. Truly, there is no NAPTR record for the Server Host/ Realm. I understand it getting the SRV record for Proxy, but Server Host has none... that's where I'm confused.
  20. I just check and the 2600hz provisioner places a port 0 in for the Server Host. How does the Server Host manage to figure out the proper port of 7000 when set to zero?
  21. I see this working differently from manufacturer to manufacture.  On Yealink there is only one option to enable Transport type, but on Polycom you can enable the Proxy separately from the Server Host. I'm assuming that on Yealink you must still set the Server Host's port to 7000 or your going to get DNS failures???
  22. I want to start a thread for questions related to the use of DNS NAPTR. My understanding is that we are to use this method for Outbound Proxy, but I'm uncertain how it applies to the Server Host aka realm.
  23. Still waiting on some clarification on using MWI... Is it necessary or not to enable?
  24. I was wondering how important it is to enable MWI Subscription. The voicemail indicator appears to work regardless of it being enabled or disabled. Is there a preference and why?
  25. @lazedo, been testing this feature and while it works initially, the BLF resets to idle state every 24 hours.
