  1. If they are attaching multiple documents it would be assumed that they didn't care about the order. If they cared about the order then they would need to combine the PDF files.
  2. And to be honest, even for a tech person such as myself I still consider it a hassle to have to combine PDF files. What if I need to fax two separate documents that have nothing to do with each other? I end up having to create a third file with them combined for the sole reason of being able to send it as one fax. It's just a hassle.
  3. Most users have no idea how to combine PDFs Isaac - it's actually not super simple for non-tech people. We get probably 3-4 support tickets every month from clients who complain that the fax didn't send when they tried to attach multiple PDF files. Even if we warn clients during training, their employees will often forget and try to attach multiple PDF files since it looks like an email and there's nothing that stops them from doing it. Every other eFax service that I have used supports multiple PDF files.
  4. We just use na@na.com
  5. Yes, but you said that the error in question can also mean it doesn't like page size...
  6. Out of curiosity why doesn't the error specify which one? Is there just limited data being returned from the receiving fax machine?
  7. FYI for the first time ever, a customer of ours received this same error. The PDF dimensions are indeed 8.5 x 11 and we tried resizing too, but it won't send. I just sent it to you Darren.
  8. And I'm just using these figures as examples, I don't know how many voicemail boxes we have total across all of our accounts.
  9. Even 1 hour of problems means we have to check every client's voicemail box for them. That's still 200 voicemail boxes to check.
  10. If each account has 10 voicemail boxes and you have 20 accounts, that's 200 users to go reset passwords for and log into their individual user portals to check and see if there are voicemails. Quite a pain...
  11. If your system has a problem emailing it (which it has in the past) then the voicemail gets "stuck" in the voicemail box.
  12. There might be a way to do it with the API, but right now we just go into the user portal for the said voicemail box. That being said, it is a pain if we have to check a lot of voicemail boxes.
  13. Sorry for the stupid question, but how do you enable this?
  14. Never mind, I jinxed it!! We just received one of these emails last night at random, but only for 1 account.
  15. We get one of these emails every time we setup a new account, but then we don't get any more after that....odd.
  16. Depending on the model of Polycom it sometimes likes the SSL and other times doesn't. I think it's an issue of older Polycoms versus newer ones. We were trying to get an older Polycom to provision and couldn't, and after contacting 2600hz support they told us not to use SSL - we weren't even aware of this problem since we had been using SSL on VVX 400s (newer Polycoms) with zero issues.
  17. Sooooo when are websockets coming? I was told exactly a year ago that they were about to be released within the next few weeks :-(
  18. Not sure, sorry...to be safe I just leave them as BCC but I would check with them for an official answer.
  19. Oh, that's weird...I'll just copy and paste it.  I asked the following: -------------------------------------------------------------- Some of the email templates (i.e. for device registration) are set to go to platform_alerts@2600hz.com. Should we leave this as is since it is how 2600hz monitors all of their clients, or can we change it to our own monitoring system and still have 2600hz get the notifications they need? -------------------------------------------------------------- Karl Anderson (2600hz Karl) Responded: -------------------------------------------------------------- If you remove the email then you are correct we would not receive the notifications for those clients.  We monitor the system in other ways but these can be useful to determine if there is a localized issue.  Using the UI Branding application you could add our email as the BCC but it is not required. --------------------------------------------------------------
  20. See this post: https://helpcenter.2600hz.com/2600hz/topics/what-to-do-with-emails-set-to-go-to-platform-alerts-2600...
  21. I agree that this could be very useful for larger companies, but I must imagine that it's fairly difficult for 2600hz to implement :-/
  22. Yes, or regular in Kazoo. Just go and add a caller ID prepend with the voicemail box name before any place there is a voicemail item in a call flow.
  23. DITTO!!! I've wanted this since day one. FYI a hack we have found is just adding a name caller ID prepend before the call flow reaches voicemail.
